Hello please I need help with my laptop showing BIOS IDENTITY DATA MANUAL RECOVERY and I can't boot to the BIOS to change the recovery policy to auto please any solutions?

Since you are unable to boot into the BIOS to change the recovery policy, you will need to try other methods to resolve this issue. Here are some steps you can follow.

Power Cycle

Sometimes, performing a power cycle can help reset any temporary issues.

1. Turn off the laptop .
2. Disconnect the power adapter .
3. Remove the battery (if removable).
4. Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power.
5. Reconnect the battery and power adapter .
6. Turn on the laptop .

BIOS Recovery Using a USB Drive

HP laptops often have a built-in BIOS recovery feature that can be triggered using a USB drive. Follow these steps:

Download the BIOS Update File :

• Go to the HP Support website and enter your laptop's model number.
• Find the BIOS update for your specific model and download the BIOS update file (usually an .exe file).

Create a BIOS Recovery USB Drive :

• Insert a USB drive into another computer.
• Run the downloaded BIOS update file. It will give you an option to create a recovery USB drive.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to create the recovery USB drive.

Perform BIOS Recovery :

• Insert the BIOS recovery USB drive into the HP laptop.
• Hold the Windows + B keys (or Windows + V keys on some models) and then press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds.
• Release the Power button but continue holding the Windows + B keys until you hear beeping sounds or see the BIOS recovery screen.
